Early End Mint

If an active premature mint is closed, the penalty deducted from the principal and interest is as follows:

(The penalty scales linear between the metrics below)
75% penalty if claimed at 25% maturity
50% penalty if claimed at 50% maturity
25% penalty if claimed at 75% maturity
1% penalty if claimed at 99% maturity

The penalties will be distributed as follows:

• 100% of penalties will be burnt

Late End Mint

If an matured mint is claimed late (5 day grace period), then penalty deducted from the interest is as follows:

25% penalty if claimed 25% past maturity
50% penalty if closed 50% past maturity
99% penalty if closed 99% past maturity

The penalties will be distributed as follows:

• 100% of penalties will be burnt
